Mausoleo di Cesare Battisti - Dos Trento

Dos Trento

The route starts in Piazzale delle Truppe Alpine, and follows the beautiful, winding monumental road that climbs the southern face of Dos Trento. You enter a spiral tunnel, which is home to some stone artwork, and soon reach the top of the hill, where a building is home to the Museo Nazionale Storico degli Alpini [the National Historical Museum of the Alpine branch of the Army]. A wide route skirts the outer edge of the flat wooded peak, and you reach the colonnade of the Mausoleum dedicated to Cesare Battisti. The top of the hill can be visited along the numerous paths that travel over it. On the way down, you follow the alleys and stairways that make it possible to shorten the route, going past the tunnel, to reach the starting point once again.
