The Marzola Tour

From the Maranza hut, which can be reached by car from Trento, take path 426, first reaching Malga Nova and then Chegul, encroaching on the III defence sector of the Fortezza. Continue southwards on path 411, climbing towards Dos dei Corvi and the summit of the Marzola, where the defensive line continued along the ridge. From the northern summit, descend to the Sella della Marzola and briefly climb up to the southern summit. The return is planned along path 412 via the Bailoni bivouac.

Sector II of the Fortezza started from the hamlet of Valsorda and occupied the southern part of the Marzola.
