LUSAN ART PARK
The first art park that tells the territory
The Lusan Art Park, inaugurated in 2020, is a thematic contemporary art park immersed in the nature of the Valle dei Laghi.
It aims to raise awareness of the main sites of historical, cultural and naturalistic interest present in the municipal area of ??Vallelaghi, through artistic installations created with different materials by carefully selected artists.
The project and its territory
The morphology of the territory was profoundly marked by the great Adige Glacier which, during the last glacial period, drew its shapes, characterizing them from a geological point of view.
The singular climatic variety of the Valle dei Laghi, which declines from the alpine to the Mediterranean climate, has meant that the area appears as a mosaic of different interconnected landscapes and panoramas, where natural environments alternate with industrious villages, valley floor, spectacular mountain ranges from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the whole of Trentino.
Its lakes, heritage to be protected and safeguarded, are a mirror for the branches of luxuriant riparian vegetation, destination and home of aquatic avifauna, source of energy and life. The various works of art, like "author's" reflections able to tell a story, want to be an invitation to discover and learn more about this territory with its precious peculiarities.
