This suburban villa is called "delle Albere" because its avenue was lined by poplars.  It was built in the first half of the sixteenth century by the Madruzzo family. After the extinction of the noble family (1658) the villa passed to the bishop's table, functioning as the summer residence of the bishops of Trento
